"This is a heavy duty lip moisturizer. It was hard to apply the first time (had a fairly hard coating on the balm), but I took a soft tissue and rubbed it over the top and found the second application to be very smooth and moisturizing.
Smells wonderful. It's a little heavier on the lips than most balms I have used so I don't think I would use this during the summer months, but for winter dry lips it will probably be the one I grab first - and probably a life saver for those who live in very dry climates.
Lip Rescue is a very appropriate name for this balm.
Great purchase (and price for such a moisturizing balm.)"

"After so many great reviews, I thought I'd give this a try. My lips aren't chapped, but the winter can make them a little dry. This balm has the same waxy feel as Chapstick--instant turn-off!! Overall, not bad, but would not buy again--nothing special."

"This smells GREAT, but I think the jojoba and aloe vera Lip Rescue works better than this one at relieving chapped lips. However, I would still purchase the shea butter one again to use when my lips aren't already chapped."

"Smells lightly like an orange creamsicle. It's not shiny or glossy at all, more of a matte appearance. It's only okay for me - I don't find it to be that moisturizing. I feel like it sits on top of my lips and doesn't add moisture at all. Wouldn't buy again."
