"As another reviewer commented, while this tea is tasty, it's not calm or sleep-inducing.
I'm a pretty novice herbal tea drinker, and, I must say that I am still trying to work my way up to actually LIKING them, not just tolerating. As it stands, I can't drink any of them without SOME sort of sweetener. This is no exception, but if I HAD to drink it by itself, I could get it down unlike many others I've had.
It smells and tastes mostly of mint and chamomile to me, very mild. I have a VERY strong aversion to anything licorice, fennel or anise flavored, but I'm fine with this tea; I don't taste any of the licorice.
As few teas as I drink, I'm a huge fan of Yogi. Their blends are nothing short of ingenious; they're SO unique and interesting, really thoughtful. (My boyfriend drinks many of their teas, and we always have around 6 of their teas in the cupboard.) And the fact that they're organic is what both led me to them and made me a loyal customer.
So, while, for me, this tea was ineffective as a slumbering agent, I keep buying it because it's comforting and is the tea I would first recommend to anyone looking for a good herbal tea."
