A multi-vitamin designed for people who follow the Atkins other low carb diets. This new version of NutriSlim Low Carb Dieter's Basic Multi-Vitamin has been reformulated by increasing many of the active ingredients to help avoid the deficiency of key nutrients due to dieting. NutriSlim Low Carb Dieter's Basic Multi-Vitamin, Version 2 contains better forms and quality of calcium, specifically calcium malate and ascorbate, magnesium levels have been increased from 125 to 200 mg and chromium, as ChromeMate®, has been increased to 400 mcg. Additionally, phosphorus has been removed, as we have determined that the average diet provides adequate levels. Other high quality ingredients include; ActiVin® Grape Seed extract, L-OptiZinc®, NutraFlora® FOS, Bioperine® Black Pepper extract and Betatene® Pro-Vitamin A. . Did You Know? "This vitamin has been great. I am not dieting, but I do try to eat low carb and decided to try this multi since it had a better vitamin compilation than the one I had been taking. It really makes me feel better and more energetic. I was reluctant to go to several pills a day in a multi- but I am glad I did with this vitamin. The only problem I have with it is that it does not contain iron. It seems hard to find an NSI in varieties that do contain iron, and I need to take it or my levels get really low. Also, my husband actually started taking this a week or two after I did and also commented about how much more energetic he was!"

"I began taking this multivitamin two years ago when I was looking for an Atkins refill and was open to generic forms of the Atkins 3 a day low carb dieters vitamins. After looking in many places online as well as in stores I noticed this had the same amounts of daily recommended and in some vitamins more than the Atkins products; I decided to try it and have been loyal since. The price is reasonable, vitacost delivers within days and I have had no problem with it being out of stock. The price has been stable over the years and I have yet to find another comparable."
