"I just started using this but I am so pleased that this natural shampoo actually lathers! I have tried so many natural and organic shampoos and it seems like you have to use half the bottle just to get a lather going. This shampoo lathered up with only a small amount of product, and it is not irritating to my senitive scalp. And really....the price is so cheap!"

"I had sort of high expectations after reading previous reviews...but the way this shampoo smells may be its only virtue. I needed to use about 3x the amount of shampoo I would normally use just so I felt like it was doing something. Even then, it left my hair feeling gross. I have curly hair and I don't wash my hair every day, so I'm used to my hair feeling naturally oily...so when I say gross, I don't just mean it left me feeling gross in an oily way...I mean it left me feeling gross in a filmy residue way. The tips of my hair have never felt more thin and brittle than when using this shampoo. I wouldn't recommend this line of shamp/cond even to my worst enemy."

"I was disappointed with this product . I thought I was going to like it since I've used other Giovanni hair products and I've been very pleased so far but this product was not what I want it for my hair. "My hair is silky smooth and shines. I have oily hair and had to wash it everyday. I now wash it every other day. An unexpected benefit of this product was the almost immediate improvement in the patches of flakey skin on my ears. It appears to have reduced my hair loss as well."

"Great ingredients, great price. I was skeptical because it seems "weird" but don't let the grayish shampoo scare you! My daughter loves it on her super thick, hard to tame, fluffy, fly-away, hair. It tames it, it shines it up and leaves it "unpuffy" as she says. Her staple is this with the matching conditioner. Awesome deal. Saves us tons of money."

"This is a great shampoo...everybody should try this stuff! Don't let the silver-gray color scare you...this is an above-average shampoo! I have used everything from cheap-o Suave to super-expensive Bumble&Bumble, and this Giovanni Magnetic shampoo ranks right up there with the best of them. It feels like it cleans well, but doesn't leave my hair feeling "squeaky clean." For me, squeaky clean = tangly. This shampoo is thick and rich, and lathers well. The ingredients seem very gentle (very low on sulfates, and no silicones.) It -- along with the matching conditioner -- leaves my hair very soft, shiny, healthy looking and strong feeling. I will definitely repurchase this stuff!"

"This shampoo has a decent rating on Skin Deep and it also works well in cleansing your hair. I like that it doesn't have the perfumey smell, but your hair will smell clean and fresh. I also recommend Gionvanni's 50/50 moisturizing conditioner to use with this. My hair requires a lot of moisture and together these products do great things for my hair."
