"I usually have complaints about most hairsprays, but I have only positive things to say about this one. I have long, fine, thick, straight hair that gets easily weighed down & coated from most styling products. The Giovanni hairspray doesn't coat my hair, weigh it down, & it washes out easily. My hair maintains it shine with this, it holds my hair REALLY well, yet brushes out without a problem. The scent is light, so it doesn't fight with any fragrance I might be wearing. This is one of the best hairspays I've ever used!"

"I used to love this product. It seems they not only put fewer ounces in the bottle for the same price, it doesn't do the job well as it used to. I have to spray lots and lots of spray to hold my fine hair, and even then, does not hold well. Looking for another spray."

"I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 19 years, and have obviously tried a lot of product. However, I have NEVER used organic haircare products until recently. My expectations were admitedly not high, but I was very pleasantly surprised with this product! This is comparable to Paul Mitchell's Freeze and Shine, with a beautiful fragrance and flexible hold. Use more product for a stronger hold, or less for a soft to medium hold. I 'm hooked!"

"I've been using Giovanni L.A. Hold Hair Spritz for a while now because it doesn't have a lot of harsh chemicals and parabens. I've been quite satisfied with with way it holds my fine hair without that helmet-head look and feel. I wish they would tone down the smell, though. While the smell disappears, it is quite strong when you first spray it. I was disappointed to see that Giovanni shrank the bottle but not the price --my old one was 8 ounces and the new one is 5.1 oz. but the ingredients appear to be the same. I will continue using it unless I happen on something better."
