"I have diabetes and one of the side effects can be itchy scalp and sking. I put this product in my hair and it was like putting glue in my hair. I would not recomend it."

"I would recommend this for dry hair as it is a very thick emollient--a little definitely goes a long way. I use it to hold back my baby hairs and as a light styling product b/c it controls my medium-thick long hair.

"I like this leave in conditioner but would recommend it be applied in small (less than dime size) squirts. If I use any more than that in my hands at one time my hair in that area ends up greasy looking and weighted down. If applied sparingly it leaves your hair soft and weightless. It provides excellent frizz control. I have naturally curly hair and leave-in conditioner is the only product I use to style my hair. This stuff leaves me with tons of weightless body while still controlling the frizz. In other words, it leaves me looking like I don't have anything in my hair (in a good way). My only complaint is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling quite as healthy and smooth as my previous leave-in."

"My hair is thick and curly, frizzy. I always use a straight iron on it. I use the Giovanni leave in conditioner, comb it through and then I also add the Jason smoothing lotion as a heat protect. It makes my hair so soft after it is straightened. I wash my hair at night to avoid the extra heat of the dryer. The products coat my hair overnight and it is ready for heat in the morning."

"I am African American and have 4a/b type hair. This conditioner was such a lifesaver when my hair was really short. It made it sooooo soft and shiny and added curl definition. Now that my hair is longer and thicker I need something a bit more substantial for moisture retention, BUT I still use this. My mom loves it. She has more of a 3 type wavy curl. It is so light, I can layer products with it. It smells great and is all natural!! It is so nourishing for your hair. I imagine this would be fabulous for any hair type."

"I have thick, long, relaxed hair that is really hard to comb when wet. I was looking for a good leave-in that didn't have any harsh chemicals and one that helped with detangling. "I use this after towel drying my two young daughters' fine hair and I find that a little goes a LONG way. If you apply too much, it gets a bit tacky and makes their hair look a bit greasy, but if you use just enough to work through the hair, it really softens it a lot and makes it MUCH more manageable. I tried it on my own thick, coarse hair, and it did not work well for me, but since it worked so well for my daughters, I would definitely buy this again for them."
