"This really did the trick for my dyed and highlighted brown hair. I also stopped blow drying on "high" (I wash and blow dry every other day). Great way to deep condition is wrap your hair in saran wrap after applying this product and let stay on for an hour."

"I've been used to using salon reconstructors such as Lanza and K-Pac and Enjoy. When I went non toxic, I tried this one. I put a plastic cap on and leave it on my head for about an hour, then rinse lightly with cold water. It is wonderful. My hair is in excellent condition."

"I love all of Giovanni's products. I am African American and have very thick but delicate hair that tends towards the dry side. I use the reconstructor once a week for just 3-4 minutes after shampooing with Giovanni's Silk...what a difference. It's great for thick, ethnic, curly or just dry hair. And that no chemicals are being absorbed into my body is what I love the most! Their products are super affordable and work better for me than even Reddken and Enjoy."

"I'm transitioning my daughter's hair from a relaxer. Her hair was weak and I needed to strengthen it. I washed her hair with Giovanni's Tea Tree shampoo and followed with this Nutrafix Reconstructor.
Her hair felt strong and smooth. There were no broken hairs in the tub! This stuff works and contains no harsh chemicals.
I gave it an overall rating of 4 because the tube is not big enough. Her hair is thick and I needed to use half the tube to cover it. They should make a bigger size! I love this stuff."

"I was excited to try this after reading all of the great reviews from here and makeupalley. My fine, shoulder length, layered hair has been feeling fried lately, probably from the heat iron & also from all of the commercial garbage I had been using. Since the ingredient list sounded impressive (natural, organic and lots of essential oils), I ordered some from here. The conditoner comes in a tube and smells fresh. Not like citrus and it doesn't have the essential oil scents of lavender or peppermint like a lot of natural products have, yet I can't quite pin-point what it smells like, but it smells okay. At any rate, my first clue that I wouldn't like it was when I saw how thick and waxy the texture was. The first few times I used it I used way too much and it didn't wash out, so now I use a tiny pea sized amount, rub it through my hands and then distribute it through my hair. It works better this way, but doesn't really seem to penetrate or condition very well. Overall, I don't like it that much and would probably not buy again."

"I have very fine, very black hair. I "lift" the color out of my bangs so that they are WHITE. It looks great, but the white hair is completely FRIED by the process. I use this conditioner to help keep my bangs from breaking off and it WORKS! I use it after shampooing, plus I use it as a leave-in conditioner when I style my hair, and at night before I go to bed. It dries without looking greasy or weighing my fine hair down. It it takes away the straw-like-quality of the white hair and makes it look healthy. I am sensitive to fragrances, and most hair products make my head itch. This has given me absolutely no issues. I'm hooked!"
