"Any anti-per./deodorant sold in the regular stores (with all the bad ingredients) have always worked for me with no problems and no irritations. The problem I have had is finding a natural one that does not make me break out or leaves me with an odor before the next morning - and I have tried a lot of them. I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and have found it to be very kind to my skin (no break out) and an effective deodorant from shower to shower. "This is probably the best of the herbal deoderants I've tried so far, but that isn't really saying much. It works OK for most of a work day. The smell is tolerable, not too light, not too overpowering, but not great either. Something about it reminds me a tiny bit of a porta potty or restroom air freshener (maybe a urinal cake??!!! lol ). The smell is not too light and not too overpowering. They could do without the TEA ingredient, which is a chemical. I might order it again, but would probably opt for a different scent of Alvera."

"After reading all of the positive reviews here, I decided to give this a try since. I do like the idea of natural deodorants, but the few I have tried were ineffective & I would break down and go back to the aluminum ones. This one is a roll on that comes in a plain beige package. It does go on very wet and it smells very strong, in a 1970s, herbal, earthy kind of a way (it's a gender neutral scent, or may even a tad more on the masculine side). The scent does stay quite strong, but fades over the course of the day. As far as it going on so wet, I usually apply it after I shower, then let it dry while I blow dry my hair. If it still feels wet after that, I put the dryer on the 'cool' setting and blow dry under each arm for about 30 seconds. That usually does the trick, otherwise I pat with a towel any remaining residue. No staining of my clothes that I have noticed, either. And most importantly, this kept me odor free and pretty dry, even after some long work-outs. I'm impressed! It's winter where I am now, but if this can withstand the summer humidity, it's going to be a keeper for me. Next time I will probably go with the unscented version, though."
