"I love this tea but I do not particularly care for the bags. When I opened the box and the large pouch the actually herb particle were floating around outside the mini tea pouches. I have bought other teas from this brand in the store and had the same experience. Plus if you are too rough pulling them apart the bags are easy to rip. So if that bothers you then stay away. The flavor was not compromised though:)"
"To get the most from horsetail/oatstraw tea it needs to be infused at a rolling boil for at least 10 minutes-up to an hour as it requires high heat to extract the silica. (keep an eye on it as it will boil over easily-keep an eye on water level and add if needed-keep a lid on it to reduce evaporation.) It is also known as Oatstraw. I wish Vitacost offered it in looseleaf form as well as tea bags!"
"My only complaint about this product is the bags come two together w/o a tear line. You need to cut them apart with a scissors or else they tear open. The taste is pretty mild so it just occurred to me that you could use both tea bags per cup, but then it ends up not being such a great deal afterall."
"Great product and the taste is quite pleasing. I added honey and lemon to a tea bag and 8 oz of boiled water and it was lovely. The benefits of horsetail tea is so awesome especially for hair growth. Do purchase for healthier system and hair growth !"
