"At first I thought I liked this shampoo and conditioner, but after a few weeks of using it on my normal to dry hair, it left my hair weighed down and lifeless with a lot of buildup on my scalp! "I love this shampoo and how it leaves my hair . . . sweekie clean with plenty of body. My hair clean without being stripped of a healthy look or feel. My hair still feels moisturized and healthy without being weighed down. BUT, I hate the fragrance. I come from the fragrance industry and have been a manufacture of mostly home fragrance products for over 30 years. The fragrance is one of those fragrances that smells like a knock off Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi fragrance. The vendor that sold this fragrance to Nature's gate did what in the industry is called a "twist" on Paul Mitchell's version. In this case, they left out some of the finer more costly elements that would give it a more natural smell and round out the fragrance. What the fragrance smells like in this formulation is a cross between cucumber/melon and a hint of barf. I love this company that I have bought from for over 30 years, but I really don't care for many of their fragrances. I would rather spend 25 cents more for the same shampoo with a better fragrance. At their cost, to them, Nature's gate could have a "great" fragrance for about 5 cents more per bottle. They need to go back to their fragrance vendor or switch vendors and get a truer fragrance. This is a shampoo, because of the minimal residue buildup, you could use everyday, but I don't because of the fragrance. I will continue to keep it in my stable of shampoos I use and hope the fragrance improves. When it does, I'll use it more."

"I have a been searching for a more natural shampoo that actually works and I've finally found it! I have finer hair and since I started using natural hair products, I wash my hair at night and in the morning it feels like I need to wash it again. Since I started using this shampoo and the matching conditioner, my hair stays and feels clean all day. I love it!
