NSI L-Tyrosine -- 750 mg - 180 Capsules

L-tyrosine is an amino acid that boosts certain neurotransmitters in the brain, and also converts into a thyroid hormone. L-tyrosine has been used to support stress reduction and depression. Did You Know? All NSI supplements are packaged in HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles. "I give this to my son instead of those nasty pills they want to give him at the psych doc. I have a combination that I give him, but sometimes the brain needs a little help and these do the trick. They also made him a little more alert so he could focus during the day."

"One of the benefits of this product is it calms my body and even increases my energy--I mainly take it when I feel tired. I noticed taking this amino acid it seems to suppress my appetite and gives me an increas feelings of satisfaction. I read in a book L-tyrosine may be a good supplement for those trying to lose weight because, theoretically, it may help speed metabolism. I know it gives me an extra energy lift."

"I started taking this product 3 years ago just in the summer since L-tyrosine is tied to Melanin production and helps you tan faster and keep a tan longer. This year I realized that every time I take this I lose weight without trying. Not lots, but about 7-8% of my body weight. Although my thyroid checks out fine, it must need a little help, so now I take this every day and have recommended it to several friends."

"Tyrosine is an energizing amino acid. I've used it for about three years now to help wake me up in the morning, and to give me an energy boost later in the day. Only one other brand has worked as quickly and with as much noticeable difference as the NSI brand, and the NSI brand costs far less. "I have no real basis for comparison, so the star rating thing is really fuzzy. Don't pay too much attention to these things.

In spite of the dearth of support for this amino acid (for what I needed), I tried it. It seems to aid in calming the nerves and allowing for deeper rest. While I take other things to help in this area, I did notice a significant change for the better once I started taking before bedtime."
