"I wanted to try a facial cleanser without a lot of questionable ingredients and came upon this cleanser here. Both my husband and I use it. It is very liquidy (no consistency at all) and has a lavender scent that quickly disappears as soon as you wash your face. It does have castile soap as the #1 ingredient so will be drying to those of you who have combo to dry skin. But, as long as you follow up with a moisturizer, you shouldn't have any issues. The only thing I don't like about this cleanser, is that it doesn't remove water-soluble mascara very well. I usually have to wash my eye area twice to remove all traces of mascara. But, I do this with other cleansers also. I am givig it 4 stars due to the quality of the product (ingredients) and the wonderful price. It will last a very, very long time. A little goes a long way. The castile soap foams nicely too."

"Leaves face silky smooth if use 1/2 cap on face after lathering in hands. Really nice product and the scent is a keeper too.

I have truly very sensitive skin that turns red at the drop of a hat. This product reduces the redness and leaves me silky smooth. Does nice job of mineral makeup removal too."

"ok, so the smell is tea tree oil, BUT, it works for cleaning the skin and lathers nice. I have bought high end dept store cleansers only to clog my pores. I intend to use this forever! It gives you a very clean face without the tightness or drying."

"This is another great Desert Essence tea tree oil based product. This is very watery in consistency and you really need a pump to put this in. It's a refill bottle. You don't need much, but it's very inconvenient to try and use it in this form without the proper dispenser. I wish it was thicker so it didn't run through my hands or soak right into the washcloth. That is my only complaint. Other than that, it does a good job at cleaning and leaves my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed."

"The product itself is okay, haven't noticed anything special...no significant differences in my skin, but I have only been using it for a couple of weeks. My biggest complaint would be that it's such a large bottle...very awkward to use...needs a pump or something!"

"First of all, I love this 32 OZ bottle. This will last me 9 months or more. Secondly, this is the first tee tree oil product that hasn't caused exteme peeling. I have very bad adult acne and sensitive skin. This product along with the Reviva Labs Glycolic 5% lotion is working wonders. I could almost walk out of the house without make-up...almost."

"My family uses this wash daily in the shower primarily on the face. But, sometimes we use it to shower the rest. It takes all the oil and grime off the skin without drying the skin. It cleans excellent and washes totally clean."

"While I agree this face wash is a bit on the runny side, I'm more than happy with the results I've gotten from using it. It cleans the skin without being too drying on my sensitive face. My skin always feels squeaky clean! You can definitely smell the tea tree oil in this (and that's a good thing or a bad thing for some.) To me, the smell doesn't matter; it goes away in no time.
After trying numerous other brands of organic face washes, I'm sticking to this. It's extremely inexpensive, effective, and worth a try!"

"I began using this soap over a year ago and I'm glad I tried it. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and I love the fact that it's all natural. It's a great value too; a little bit goes a long way.
