"I used to love Desert Essence products but this soap is another mysterious dissapointment-it is greasy, extremely drying, and impossible to rinse off. I bought an enormous bottle and simply threw it away."

"It smells like tea tree oil with a hint of ginger. This cleanser is great! I use it as a face & body wash. I use it on my hair to get gunky products out that regular daily shampoo's wont get out. The price is excellent as well. With that said, this cleanser is very very watery. It's thin and does not have a normal cleanser viscosity. Regular cleansers are almost syrupy, this cleanser is very watery. It does suds well but you need to pump several pumps for a full lather."

"I bought this because I was looking for something to really clean my face and get rid of some little bumps I developed I guess from clogged pores. Man,did I ever pick a winner. My face feels sweaky clean after each wash. I even got my husband to try it and he really loves it. He has oily skin. My face is clear of bumps and I'll order again when we run out."

"I love this product. It is so clean and refreshing. It just needs a pump though...Every few days I use it on a poof sponge and clean my whole body with it and it rinses so clean. It's a wonderful product and I will be ordering this again."

"This facial wash is really good. It removes makeup well and I didn't need to use special makeup removal stuff. It leaves the skin very soft and nice.
It burns in the eyes - so keep them shut...
The bottle was surprisingly big, and the soap is a bit on the "runny" side. I put some in a smaller bottle so I would not lose product. I think a pump could be useful with this bottle!"

"I like the product, it does a great job cleaning. It did dry my skin out a bit in the winter months, but I know everyone's skin is different.
besides functionality of the face wash, I was surprised that this bottle is a lifetime supply! It is also very difficult to dispense. the wash is a thin liquid, and the bottle only has a regular cap. This makes it very awkward to get out without spilling it everywhere or getting to much."

"I think this is a fantastic product and would recommend it to anyone with problem skin who doesn't want to use products with chemicals in them anymore. A little goes a long way. A tiny squirt will foam up and cover your whole face. It has made my skin radiant (I don't even wear blush or bronzer anymore!) and my pores have never been cleaner. However my two VERY MINOR complaints are:
-the smell. It has a very strong odor (not bad, not good...just takes some getting used to).
-it does dry out my skin right after use. However, not so much so that I cannot use a daily facial moisturizer to combat this."

"I've tried dozens of facial products and didn't care for any of them. I fell in love with this product after using it for several days. I use it with my clarisonic brush and it leaves my skin squeaky clean! Everyone's skin reacts differently to things but this product is perfect for mine. It comes in a huge bottle so it literally can last you 9 months or so. Just use a capful or so and you're fine. Dessert Essence in general is so affordable. Best money I ever spent!!"
