Enzymatic Therapy DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice) -- 100 Tablets

Provides Soothing Relief for the Stomach Lining and the Digestive Tract. Fructose Free / Sugarless Chewable Tablets. This fructose free / sugarless formula of DGL has become known as "The Lining Tamer" for a very good reason. Studies have shown that DGL helps relieve stomach discomfort immediately. "I like bitter flavors, and love licorice, but these pills (which must be chewed, unfortunately) taste horrible- medicinally bitter and very gritty. That being said, they do calm down acid pretty well. But I had to take 2 at a time to get them to work, and have to repeat the dose every six hours or so. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the grimace-producing taste."

"I have no doubt that this product is a very good one. It has the ingredients and the promise. But the taste is extremely difficult to deal with. I love a chewable and this is supposed to be that. It helps us begin to break down the product in the mouth, before the stomach has to do it. The first time I tried it, I got nauseous from the taste. Second time wasn't much better. There was no third time. I sent it to a friend of mine out of state (rather than toss it) and she has said that the taste grows on you! Then she will get the benefit. It's not the licorice taste, per se, but rather the density of this one."

"This product did not work for stomach acid/upset for me. I find that Nature's Plus DGL capsules work better. Also, this one bothered my throat, but I have a sensitive throat, so if you don't, it would be fine. Tastes good."

"For stomach gas, bloat, distress this stuff seems to work really well and fast. Don't take over the counter antacids... they'll haunt you with worse acid like symptoms later. This may also be good for ulcers and is now a part of my arsenal. The taste of this is strong... if you really like licorice then you'll like this but if you don't try the chocolate one. Either way great product, good price."

"This is a great product for helping fix acid reflux/heartburn. It helped me and I recommend it every time I hear someone complain of heartburn. I think it tastes fantastic. If I did not know what it is, I would think it is a licorice candy. If you don't like the taste of licorice, it also comes in other flavors."

"DGL instantly resolves my indigestion and heartburn. Since using this product my indigestion and heartburn has subsided considerably. I used to suffer from both at least 4-5 times a week. Now I only take it occassionally as needed. I highly recommend this product and for people to read what Enzymatic says about the product also. Try it, you'll like it!"
