100% Natural Teas. Bengal is a geographical region that today covers parts of India and Bangladesh, and forms part of the natural habitat of the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Chai – a spiced tea typically made with black tea leaves – is very popular in India. Bengal Spice is naturally caffeine free version of this traditional brew made with herbs instead of tea leaves, as well as cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and a hint of vanilla. Adding a touch of cream or milk delivers a truly authentic chai experience!

"It has so much flavor; there isn't a need to add sugar or honey. It has that holiday spice to put you in the spirit. A fall/winter tea."

"I really enjoy this tea when I feel like I just want a cup to sip on slowly. It doesn't need any sweetening. If you leave the bag in too long (10 minutes or more) it gets spicier and can almost burn your tongue, but it's still delicious."

"Let me first state that I'm a huge fan of Celestial Seasonings teas, and have been for well over 30 years- and it pains me to write that I'm even slightly disappointed. I was looking for an herbal chai, and Bengal Spice looked to be just what the doc ordered. I'm absolutely gaga over their other Chai Teas, so I figured this had to be in the same league. Bzzzzt. CS went insanely overboard on the cinnamon. Mind y'all, I'm a cinnamon addict. I add a capful of cinnamon baking xtract to EACH cup of coffee I drink. I use cinnamon so often that I keep 3 different types of powdered cinnamon on my desk (cassias from 2 different regions, and ceylon), I use it on just about everything I eat/drink. Somehow Bengal Spice is too "cinnamony". No matter how I brew it (I'm varied and experimental with my chai brewing), it's just too much cinnamon (actually I'm pretty sure it's cassia, not "true" cinnamon, but thats a distinction probably not important to anyone unless theres an allergy involved.) It's not undrinkable, but it's not going to be flying off my tea shelf very quickly. Sometimes I find actual tea (green/black/decaff/caff) constipating, so I'm on the lookout for an herbal chai. Still searching... :("
"This is the best tea I have ever tasted; and I'm from England so I know my tea. The best part of the day is waking up & drinking one, sometimes two cups, of this tea. You must drink it the English way, meaning adding a little sugar or honey and milk or cream. Their Chocolate Enchantment is right up there with this flavor. OOh so yummy & good for you with all the anti-oxidants in them. My little town does not carry these flavors so keep them on stock please as I'm addicted..."

"Awesome tea -- especially for cold weather... ... or in the evening. I read a review that compared this to a liquid red hot. I agree. If you like cinnamon, you'll love this."
"This tea is the most flavorful I've had. You can drink it with no added sugar and it tastes as if you did! No carbs, no calories, it is wonderful for a dessert when you are dieting and just need flavor! Delicious and several cups from one bag, the longer it sits the better it is. I am so glad to have found this tea."
"No sugar needed and it's even better if left hours or over night and reheated. SOOOOO Good I could spend my life promoting this tea and I have been personally responsible for introducing it to my entire family and many friends."
