"I bought this for my 5 year old, who refuses to take it because it smells horrible and the tablet is too big for a 5 yr. old to just swallow with a drink. I tried crushing it and adding it to apple sauce or bread and butter to no avail. I don't even want to try it!"

"I would have loved to be able to tell this product's effectiveness. However, the taste is so horrible that my 5yo will not even take it. I tasted it myself and I would only take it on a regular basis if it was absolutely essential. And I can handle some pretty nasty tasting herbs on occasion."

"WOW is right. My 6 year old son can be hyper, and this is only the second day on Calm child tablets, and he has calmed down quite a bit! I also give him Focus FActor for kids, with Calm child, Natural Calm magnesium, and 2 Nature's Way EFA mood Aid (fish oil). The result is one calm boy!!!!"

"This product seemed to work okay, but is sort of difficult for children to take, as it doesn't really taste very good. It's also hard to swallow, so definately not for smaller children."

"I bought this over 2 months ago and I am not happy with this product at all. I have been giving my 5 & 3 the pills and they do not work. I give them 2 in the morning and 2 at night. They have been on them for the 2 months and i haveno seen a change yet. They are still wild. I am going to try something else."

"My eight year old has had problems since day 1 in school. I first purchased this product from a local retailer for triple the price of Vita cost. I was amazed at the results. Its like magic. The rsults are immediate not 2-3 weeks later.

"I just ordered 2 more bottles just to make sure I don't run out. I can't believe the difference these make in my 6 year old. He takes them in the morning after breakfast and again at school after lunch. I feel much better about going natural, the other choice was prescription meds."

"Wow! I have searched for healthier alternatives to help calm my 4 year son, I found it with Calm Child. No more bad reports from teacher. My son is more loving, more cautious of others and focus better. I have tried other herbal stuff that taste way worse. The calm child has a taste that my son has gotten use to. The Dr. said it was his age, I knew differently. I had to try something, I could imagine him at 6 and focusing in school, it was not going to happen. Oh, plus no artificial stuff in his foods has helped too. Read all the labels.
Your family sanity is worth a try. I'm glad we did."

"The ingredients are great. This is truly a natural product. However given that it is for children it tastes horrible. Usually if my children don't like a children's product that I buy them, then I will take it. I can't even tolerate the horrilble taste. If your child is not used to sugar and can take a bitter flavor then you may fair well with this. The only reason that I did not send it back to vitacost is that it would not be cost effective given how inexpensive this product is.
I gave a 1 for effectiveness not because it is not effective but because I don't know if it is effective because it tastes so bad that we have not been able to use it.
If you have children with sensitive pallets then definitely pass on this one."

"This product was recommended and after using it for some time I know that it works. My 6 year old who spins out of control on a regular basis... spins less when she takes this product. We have tried to skip it on occasion and regretted it. It is a great product at a reasonable price, especially when you compare it to the highly promoted products. Give it a try, you will be pleased."
