Tom's of Maine Toothpaste Wintermint with Fluoride -- 5.2 oz

Natural anticavity fluoride toothpaste. Wintermint flavor. How do we define natural? By natural we mean that the product contains no artificial preservatives, artificial dyes, or artificial sweeteners (like saccharin) and is created with minimally processed ingredients, their purpose and source. "I usually purchase chemical-free, all-natural products. However, I'm not yet willing to give up fluoride. I had a hard time finding a toothpaste without chemicals and that included fluoride. This toothpaste is the closest I've come thus far and I'm mostly pleased.

The taste is great... not over-powering like commercial toothpaste. I like the texture as well. it definitely leaves my mouth feeling clean. I also think the price is pretty reasonable.

The only thing I don't like about the toothpaste is the fact that it contains SLS... sodium lauryl sulfate. I avoid this in products as a general rule."

"I tried using "non-natural" toothpastes after using Tom's and they all had a very strong artificial sugar flavor, yuk!! I just can't go back to them. Luckily Tom's is on sale @ Vitacost.com to closely match the supermarket toothpastes cost."

"I've used Tom's of Maine for years and I highly recommend it - use their 5 day test and see, as they say, how refreshing it is. I can't use regular toothpaste now; it sickens me with it's sweetness, where Tom's of Maine leaves me with a good feeling in my mouth! Wintermint is a medium intensity flavour, neither too bland or too strong, although the gel is 'spicier' than the paste."
