"My son came home from school last Wednesday with a severe sore throat and low grade fever. I started him on this as well as Umka Cold and Flu and he was back to normal Friday night. I'm not sure if it is coincidence or it actually helped, but I'm going to continue to use it!!"

"I always give this to my kids when I first see a runny nose or hear a cough. I also give it to them if I know they have been around sick people. It is really effective if you stay on top of the dosages."

Wonderful product, May 10, 2008

"My 13 month old son is in daycare. This past winter he has kept a runny nose and wet cough. I was so tired of the doctors wanting to put him on every antibiotic under the sun. I came across the Sambucol syrup and thought I would give it a try. After being on it for about a week, both the runny nose and wet cough disappeared. I have since kept him on it as a daily maintenence, and he has not been sick since."

"It might be good for them but this stuff tastes worse than any medicinal syrup I have even tasted in my life! I can bribe my sweet toothed boy with 5 marshmallows to take it but there is no reward that will make my other child drink it. It is nasty."

"My granddaughter is 8 months old now. She has taken Sambucol once daily since 2 weeks old. I am astonished that she has not been sick at all. Two allergy episodes. No ear infections, nothing but a happy, healthy baby. I recommend this to everyone with children. Taken in combination with a probiotic, it's the best you can do for a healthy child."

"I started giving my 4-year old son this product back in November. Stumbled upon it by accident at a health food store when looking for regular cold medicine. It has definitely, on the occasions I’ve given it to my son, decreased the length and severity of his colds (I start giving it to him as soon as cold symptoms appear). In addition, as of January 2007, after checking out prices on the web I found Vitacost to be the most afforbable."
