"I tried this shampoo given the overwhelming positive reviews. Unfortunately, although it was gentle in cleaning, it left my scalp extremely itchy. I suppose there is one harsh chemical in the product that didn't agree with my hair. I prefer the Lamas Chinese herbs shampoo. I was very disappointed."

"I bought this product due to my childrens eczema issues. Since switching all their bath products to jasons only one of my children has any form of eczema and we believe it is a milk allergy. These products are the best"

"I have tried several other Jason Shampoos ( Sea Kelp and Jojoba) , but the 84% Aloe Vera works the best for me. It leaves my semi long dirty blond hair clean and shiny all day long. My hair gets very oily so I have to wash it almost every day and the Aloe Vera variety is the only one that is gentle enough to use every day. The Sea Kelp shampoo doesn't clean nearly as well and is harder to rinse out. The Jojoba does not work well for my hair because it is already oily and the jojoba oil tends to build up on my scalp over time, so I would not recommend that one for someone with oily hair. The 84% Aloe Vera however is great for someone with an oily scalp. It cleans well and rinses out well and my hair is very easy to brush when it dries. I use the Jason Sea Kelp conditioner about once a week along with it to moisturize my hair. I am so glad that I have finally found a combination that works! And I am so glad that Jasons does not use harsh chemicals in their products!"

"My hair is so well conditioned after using this shampoo with the matching Jason's aloe conditioner my stylist cannot believe it. Even with straightening my hair a few times a week! It took about a month for my hair/scalp to adjust to the all natural shampoo from the chemical shampoos but it is great!"

"i bought this along with the really pasty conditioner (see my review for that), and it works really well. i like the smell of it too. good value for the money. I bought it because my scalp itches when i use shampoos with Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) and this is SLS-free. It really does make a difference!"
