"This product does contain Sodium Myreth Sulfate, but we were looking for something specifically that did not contain Sodium LAUREL Sulfate.

Jason has a variety of pleasant shampoos free of sodium laurel sufate. This one contains biotin which may possibly be absorbed through the hair and scalp."

"First time using Jasons Shampoo. It does a nice job and smells good. I was surprised at how well it workes for not having SLS in it. I can use it everyday wich is nice."

"This has to be the worst shampoo I have ever used. It instantly turned my shoulder length hair into a tangled mess. I thought the conditioner used afterwards would help but it did not. My hair turned into straw . I will not even give this a second try. A waste of money."

"I have fine, straight, fairly limp hair that needs daily washing. I definitely need 2 rounds of this shampoo or my hair is really flat and not very clean appearing. I'm using it up in rotation with other shampoos because it's there, not because I like it. Herbal scent is nice - light, minty and chamomile - not perfumey."

"I have been using this shampoo for about a month now, and have noticed a huge difference. My hair is very shiny and soft now. It used to be brittle and dry on the ends and greasy on the top. This has been the best shampoo that I have used and it smells great. I will not use any salon products again."

"I use this and Jason's Biotin conditioner along with Maxi-Hair supplements. Something has given my hair great shine! I've also enjoyed Jason's Sea Kelp Shampoo & Conditioner. I love the fact that they're all nature. It seems to be pretty important not to dump any more chemicals on our body or into our environment. I'll be glad to help, especially when the products are this nice and effective."

"I love this shampoo! It makes my hair very shiny and soft. Even my husband commented on how shiny my hair looks.( I am also using the conditioner.) The smell is very light and soft and since I have short hair, I do not notice a smell after my hair has dried. I have been pleased with all of the Jason products I have purchased and love the fact that they are made with natural ingredients. I will continue to try new products as well. Great buy for a GREAT product."

"I have used other Jason products but I have found the one I love. The Tea Tree oil is amazing. It awakens and refreshes me each morning both in smell and the sensations it imparts on my scalp. As other non-lauryl shampoo products, I must use a small amount for an initial wash (almost a prep/prime) before getting the fabulous suds of the second application. I have long hair so I'm used to taking a little longer to wash my hair. My hair looks shiny and healthy."

"Itchy scalp makes for lots of different shampoos in the cabinet. This one is not bad, only drawbacks are: the smell might be a bit strong for some, kind of a tea tree oil odor; and it really, really, really must be kept out of your eyes! This shampoo also fades hair color, but I haven't yet found a "medicated" type shampoo that doesn't fade tinted hair."

"This is my first natural shampoo. It has worked well. The instructions tell you to do a quick lather and then a good wash. This sometimes HAS to be done. Sometimes, the shampoo just WILL not lather up. I find it will lather better with more water, but overall the shampoo works well. My hair is very knotty after shampooing but is with most any shampoo I have used. I just use a good condtioner and am really pleased."
