"The reviews on this product were good and I was looking for a change to the Kiss My Face shave cream. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed.
This cream just does not lather. Use more, use less, it just won't make a lather. To me, that's necessary for a shave cream.
The Kiss My Face creams are tried and true and I've been using them for many years. They last."

"I bought this to use shaving my legs. I have terrible trouble with ingrown hairs as well & saw a review said it was good for that. I get the absolute smoothest shave I have ever gotten using this product. My shaver gets more hairs than when using other shave gels, lotions, or creams. Also afterwards my legs feel so smooth from those exfoiliating beads and from whatever is in the product, it really moisturizes my legs. My only suggestion to JASON is-PLEASE make a shave lotion that doesn't have the "cooling" properties of this, so a lady or man could use it in more private/ sensitive areas as well. A choice of a pretty feminine scent would be nice for ladies as well as an unscented version. The only reason why I am giving it less stars on the value is because it is more expensive than other shaving lotions for 8 oz. Maybe the ladies version could be made with 16 oz. since we shave our legs almost everyday."

"I bought this for my husband who has a very coarse beard and often suffers from ingrown hairs. We have tried many, many products. This one works the best, his shave is much smoother and he has minimal ingrowns. Prior to finding this he was using a very expensive product; Jason's is more effective. So glad we found this one!"

"This shaving lotion is fine, but I prefer Kiss My Face Moisture Shave. This one seems a little "thin". I do like Jason products a lot usually, but I feel that the Kiss My Face works better. They are both nice, in that they have more pure ingredients than the mainstream products."

"Not quite as easy to use as Aveno gel, however the end product is better (smooth and no irritation). Shave gel sticks to the skin a little better, but my skin likes this product better after I am done shaving. About the same cost, and this won't leave a rusty ring in the shower. Men, if you don't shave in the shower, it's time to start. Buy a fog free mirror."

"I bought this as a present for my dad. He usually just uses the cheapest shaving cream from the grocery store. He called NINE MONTHS LATER to say he had just run out and where did I get it. He cut himself as soon as he went back to the "other stuff." Needless to say, I ordered him another! Who ever heard of a shaving lotion that lasted nine months?"

"This is a great, all-natural alternative to conventional shaving creams full of unnatural ingredients like triethanolamine and irritating fragrances. It works surprisingly well if you can get past its not being a foam. Three pumps is all you should need for a close shave but you have to rub it in well to get the tiny jojoba beads to break for ideal consistency. If you're cheap like me, the price can't be beat but you still have to switch your blades out every now and then if you want to avoid razor burn."

"Not a bad product. I did have a problem with the bottle pump. Although I think Jason Naturals is a quality oriented company unfortanutly this is not the first time I have had problems with thier bottle pumps! I would consider this a light shaving lotion creme vs a gel. If you shave while showering it will work well!"

"I think this stuff is awesome. My dad actually bought it by accident once meaning to buy one of Jason's other products and gave it to me and I have been buying it since. I like it so well I actually gave it to my father-in-law for fathers day as a side gift. I shave while in the shower so it is even better when it comes to using it as a exfoliant/pore cleaner. I am 41 and can use all the help I can get to keep the skin looking young. It gives a really nice clean shave and leaves your face feeling smooth. You use a pretty small amount(suirt and a half for me) so it lasts a long time. Making it a great value as well. I don't know what else I can say about it . I really like it a lot."

"this product really provides a good shave and after "feel" despite the consistency of the lotion in the two bottles I bought. One bottle has free-flowing/pumping lotion. The other doesn't and needs to be poured, which is inconvenient but OK in a pinch. The "grains" in the lotion aren't irritating to my skin, and MAY exfoliate (not sure on that, but a good selling point) but overall, I seem to shave more easily, and I have rather tough facial hair. I'll continue to use this lotion, despite the difficulty with "pumping it.""

"This is more of a shave lotion with fine beads in it. I buy it for my boyfriend. His skin has been super smooth since he started using this. He first scrubs with the Jason D-Clog facial cleanser and then shaves with this. SUPER smooth skin, no ingrown hairs. Has a nice light scent as well. He loves it."
