"I suffered for 25 years with painful, heavy, irregular menstrual cycles that would last for 7-14 days. I never knew when I would get it and when I did I could not go anywhere. A nurse told me about vitex and I have been taking Vitex for over 5 years. My periods are always on schedule and I no longer have cramps. I once missed 3 days (on vacation) and the next month I was in agony. I could not live without this! I wish someone would have told me about it when I was 13!!!"

Finally, Period Relief!, January 22, 2008

"For the past 27 years, I have experienced very heavy and long menstrual periods--to top it off, my complete cycle was only 3 weeks long (21 days) as opposed to 4 weeks (28 days)--and sometimes a period would come every other week! I have tried multiple birth control pills and rings but would bleed right through them on my "normal" cycle--I should already be in menopause considering I have had 1 1/2 times more periods than most women my age!
I have been taking Vitex for the past six weeks (two pills every morning with breakfast) with the purpose of eliminating my premenstrual acne. So far, the pms acne has not been eliminated, but was not as awful as it has been in the past,...but for the first time EVER in my life, I had a 28 day cycle. I will continue to use this product (relatively cheap compared to birth control pills which did not work and had horrible side effects) and see if it will keep me on a 28 day cycle and clear up my PMS acne--an added bonus, I found it made my nails grow stronger--much like they did at the end of my pregnancies (maybe it was just less stress of not having so many periods that kept me from biting them!)."

"Vitex/chasteberry was recommended to me by my holistic health nurse, mostly I think for 'moodiness' I associated with my menstrual cycle. I noticed a lightening of that cloud of bad mood in the first cycle!
I have not at all even thought about any other possible effects - such as pimples or others mentioned by others; I was very happy with this result though! I wasn't sure about Nature's Way as I thought it might be a more commercial brand, perhaps not as true to the needs of the herbs, etc - but I did feel the results I wanted."

"It makes my skin much better. I don't have pimple on my forehead anymore everytime before I have my period. And it balance the hormone. It takes about 2 months to see changes on my skin. It's not harmful to my body at all. I've been taking this product for 8 months now. Very good product."
