Twinlab Emulsified Omega-3 Fish Oil -- 12 oz

Twinlab Emulsified Omega-3 Fish Oil -- 12 oz

Nutritionally Supports General Health and Wellness. Dietary supplement Twinlab Emulsified Omega-3 Fish Oil is the best tasting emulsified Omega-3 fish oil product ever developed. It supplies the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Imported from Norway, it supplies the highest quality source of fish oil available. It is derived from the flesh of deep-sea, cold water fish. This product is carefully screened to avoid toxic metals and chemicals and does not have vitamins A and D. Unlike some other brands, Twinlab Emulsified Omega-3 Fish Oil is emulsified with natural lecithin and apple pectin making the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA more readily available to the digestive system for superior absorption, assimilation and utilization. Numerous studies have proven that a diet that has Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids nutritionally supports general health and wellness. For maximum stability, quality and freshness, each bottle of Twinlab Emulsified Omega-3 Fish Oil has an antioxidant blend and is sealed free of air (nitrogen flushed) to prevent oxidation and rancidity.

"I have used this product before. In the past it was clear color. This time it was yellow so it made it difficult to take. Looked like pancake batter. But the product does seem to work. Just tastes different from the last time I got some. With the good price I will probably buy it again."

A Real Find, June 18, 2009
By SkinnyNow from Edgewood, MD

"I had bariatric surgery on 3/25/08. Prior to that I had been taking fish oil in large gelcaps, but after surgery I needed to find an alternative as gelcaps can't be cut in half, and I needed to reduce the size. I searched the health food stores and found this Twin Lab product. It was liquid and only 1 tbsp per day netted 1600mg of Omega 3's. In researching a less expensive way to purchase it, I found it here at a much more reasonable price. I have knee arthritis, and I had high cholesterol and I didn't want to stop taking fish oil, as I feel it helps. Twin Labs product has allowed me to continue taking fish oil without the worry of a large gelcap getting stuck. And I am getting more Omega 3's than the gelcap serving provided. I recommend it all the time to other bariatric patients, and friends who have trouble with large pills or capsules."

"After extensive research, this is the best fish oil I could find.
1. It is emulsified for better absorption
2. Purified of contaminants which can accumulate in fish (man made polutants from our industry)
3. Just has the fats without the high vitamin A or D in cod liver oil, useful if you want to take with another vitamin for example.

The downside is it is emulsified with soy lechin. Soy products are horrible and can reduce testosterone levels. Hopefully, it is such a small amount of soy that the dosage will be way too low for an effect. They should emulsify it with water, although it would taste fishy.

"I bought this with the intent of giving to my 5 year old son. Unfortunately, he doesn't like the taste or the thick syrupy texture. I don't like it either. I used to give him the lemon flavored fish oil which he liked. The good reviews of this made me think I was upgrading. I bought two bottles and now I don't know what to do with them."

"I've used this specific type of fish oil for years. I take it for it's high EPA percentage per dose. It is hard to find this in any other fish oil product. Not to mention you only take a little to get the huge anti-inflammatory effects from the EPA. Great price & a little goes a long way! (You do have to be able to stomach the strong fish taste, so it's hard to sell to kids)."

"I've been taking cod-liver-oil and now "fish oil" for years. The stuff used to be like fishy smelling cooking oil. They I found some that had a heavy Mint or Orange flavor added to mask the taste. Now, with this "Emulsified" stuff it doesn't taste fishy at all (to me) and packs in so much more active ingredient per calorie than before."

Real differences, April 11, 2007
By doggydad

"My stomach can't tolerated fish oil. Can take this on an empty stomach with no problems. Many fish oils are labeled as "contaminant free" but are not. This one is. Emulsification makes for faster and better absorption. The body absorbs just so much fat from a meal. This form gets top priority. Just don't take fiber supplements with it and more of it gets absorbed. More oil for the buck. Sit down and figure out the cost per serving. Hands down the best value for a quality Omega-3 supplement."
