Twinlab MegaTwin EPA Fish Oil -- 60 Softgels
Nutritionally Supports Brain, Nerve, Visual Function, healthy skin, cardiovascular health, and healthy joint function. Supplies EPA & DHA. Most people in the U.S. consume too few Omega-3 fatty acids. An excellent way to supplement these essential fatty acids is Twinlab's Mega Twin EPA. It has a blend of fish oils that are concentrated to supply EPA and DHA - Omega-3 fatty acids that are beneficial in supporting many bodily functions. Omega-3's help to maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range. Omega-3's also help support brain, nerve and visual ability. Clinical studies have shown that a diet that has at least 400 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids (300 mg of which are EPA and DHA) supports cardiovascular health. Also, a recent study has shown that a diet with 768.8 mg of EPA nutritionally supports healthy joint function. "I have always been extremely pleased with the quality and efficacy of Twinlab products, and the Mega Twin EPA is no disappointment. This is a fantastic choice for a superinjection of Omegas.
And yes... its high-quality, concentrated fish oil, so you're going to have a few fishy burps. Wouldn't you wonder about the quality of a fish-oil based product that didn't? Fish is a pungent food. One thing I can say for sure is that fishy burps are NOT a sign of a bad batch (as another reviewer suggested)

"Taking this supplement consistently results in unpleasant fishy burps. I've tried several brands of fish oil softgels and have only encountered this problem with this product. Before meal, during meal, after meal: all result in the same unpleasant effects. I'll concede I may have a "bad batch" however, I see I'm not alone in this experience. Too bad, I normally regard Twinlab as a good brand."

"I read the reviews of this product and I must have got a bad batch or something. The fish smell and aftertaste is so awful that I have discontinued using them until new ones arrive. The softgels also stick together so badly that I have to use a knife to pry them apart each time I take one. I suggest buying the NSI fish oil softgels. They're not quite as potent (per softgel) but they don't have the fishy smell/aftertaste."

"Having done some reading about supplemental fish oil and the benefits, I decided to try it. Unfortunately the first product I used from a local super store left a terrible fishy after taste. Since I have used Vitacost for many years and have always been extremely happy with their products, prices, and service, I checked the website and found these tablets made by TwinLab. I have used them for a few months now and am very satisfied - no after taste and I feel good reading their label especially the part about "PCB/Heavy metal free"."

"If one must take as recommended or more than recommended because of Doctor's orders, this is a great product. Does not have fishy smell nor taste. Also, the ingredients are higher. There are cheaper products out there but when you open the bottle you must hold your breath. It is worth every penny buying this product."
