The salted product tastes better

"I learned that tahini really needs the salt. I didn't think I would need the salt because I mix it with salted peanut butter. I was wrong.
I just add salt to it though, so I'll be able to use it but next time I'll just buy the salted one."

"I love this tahini, raw clean subtle taste. Great for all kinds of recipes, hummus, salad dressings, or eat it by the spoon. I also add sesame seeds and a little maple syrup and make halvah. Delicious and GMO free. Thanks Vitacost!"

"This may be great if you know what to do with it. I bought it to try after reading good reviews. It's dry,somewhat bitter, and plain tasting. I've mixed it with hummus, added it to salad dressing, and neither was improved. This is not like a nut butter and wouldn't be good for spreading on a celery stick or cracker either. I gave it two stars because it might be good in something, I just don't know what that something is."
